East Midlands #media2012 – Hosted by Citizens' Eye 6th June 2011

After the successful visit to the #media2012 conference hosted last year in Manchester by Citizens' Eye its great to be able to return the hospitality to our partners across the UK.

I'm confident the Phoenix Square Film & Digital Media Centre will demonstrate why the Community Media Centre 2012 project is using the venue for 9 months from January 2012 with the aim to establish the UK's largest independent media hub in 2012.

There will be a meeting of the #media2012 network on the 6th of June at the Phoenix Square Digital Media Centre in Leicester. The event will be hosted by Citizen’s Eye and will form part of a week’s worth of activities for Community Media Week.
